Growing up in Bikrampur, Munshiganj, I never imagined I’d one day be telling jokes on stages around the world. Like many kids in Bangladesh, my dream was simple: study abroad and get a solid IT job. And I did—moved to Canada, graduated, landed a job at IBM. That should’ve been the dream. But it wasn’t.

Instead, I found myself chasing something else: the mic, the laughter, the stories. Somewhere along the way, the IT guy became the stand-up guy.

This comedy special is about that journey—not just mine, but the story of millions like me. People navigating identity, breaking stereotypes, and finding laughter in struggle. It’s personal, absurd, heartfelt, and brutally honest.

After a sold-out run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2023, I’m thrilled to bring Made in Bangladesh back home—for the first time ever in Bangladesh!
